We hired them to replace windows in our sunroom. What started out as a simple project turned into a rebuild of the sunroom due to substantial wood damage uncovered when the old windows were removed. While many of the problems were unexpected and necessary repairs caused the project to go on longer than expected, Rich Arkey did excellent work in bringing everything up to code and beautifully remodeled. He is experienced and knowledgeable. He explained all the problems and possible solutions clearly. His work is careful, thorough and detailed.

Rich and his crew did a marvelous job on instilling windows for our screen enclosere to help make it a sun room. Owner, Rich Arkey was very knowledgeable and helpful as he introduced the product and gave good explanation. During the waiting time, we received updates along the way. The workers were on time, extremely knowledgeable, professional and did a fantastic installation in about 7 hours from beginning to end. The quality of the windows is very high and look beautiful. The experience exceeded our expectations! I would definitely call Rich at ProRANA if we ever need more windows installed! Thank you Rich it was a pleasure to work with you!

Again, we called on Rich to replace additional low-end fogged windows that became an eye-sore. So glad we did. The job was reasonably priced and the crew was as prompt & efficient as the last time out. They will be first on our list of contractors for future home maintenance issues.Thanks, Rich!

My husband and I have been working with Rich for 2+ years on several projects.
We first contacted him when we were thinking about replacing all the windows in our house.
He was the only contractor who had the integrity to tell us that we didn’t need to replace the windows,
but could take a different and cheaper route to solve our problem.
Then we hired him to do a much bigger job–taking out a 16×9 foot wall of windows and replacing it with a giant sliding door onto the deck.
He did that install with absolute professionalism.
When minor problems came up after install–as they do with any job–he was responsive and explained our options well.
There are always going to be delays and unexpected problems, but Rich communicates clearly, explains what is happening,
and offers options for how to move forward.
He’s also just a funny guy to have around. And the dog likes him.

After having a lightning strike to our home, we needed someone who could address all our issues and only have to deal with one person. We found that with Rich. He addressed all our issues with efficiency and communicated through everything.
We had a lot of unseen damage and he addressed that in a timely manner to bring our house back to a safe place to live. We highly recommend him for your repairs or home improvement needs

Rich built us a deck. We interviewed 4 companies. Rich was by far the most knowledgeable and explained what he would do and listen to what we envisioned. He always looped us in when there was a supply issue or something else was going wrong. I watched him several times and he is meticulous at his work. We are beyond thrilled with his work and the end project. He did better than we even thought about. We will hire Rich again for any further projects.

We had The Window & Door Company come out to install a large door in a solid wall. Rich’s knowledge and guidance made the whole process easy. Rich included all engineering and permits and had the beam/header properly designed to support all three floors of our home, which gave us a lot of confidence in the project. The installation of the new footings and structural beam looked very challenging, but Rich’s crew handled it professionally and made it look easy. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. A couple of unforeseen issues came up due to the age of the home, but everything was clearly explained along with the proper

Rich is very prompt to respond and professional in every sense, from proposals and estimates to his detailed contract. Last summer [2024] we hired Rich Arkey’s company to replace our patio doors. During his inspection of our home’s exterior, he discovered additional storm damage. Rich advised me to contact our home owners insurance company, which we did. As a result storm damage to our roof and to the vinyl siding on the back of our home was approved by our insurance company to be replaced. Additionally, we decided to have Rich’s company install new gutters. Our home is now fully ready to face future weather conditions. Plus it looks GREAT!! You can bet that if our home needs any future repairs, we will be calling Rich, at The Window and Door Company.

I had them order and install a replacement door for one that had a failed seal in the glass. The installation was completed with molding re-installed and painted. Looks great.
